Nicholas is knowledgable in the area of crypto mining and tells us about how he helps investors to make money through crypto mining. There is scope for 21 million bitcoins and millions have already been mined. By mining, Nicholas means algorithms opposed to the traditional mining way of digging with a shovel and pickaxe.

 

What is a Bitcoin?

Nicholas explains that a bitcoin is a digital currency. It was created by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009. The idea around bitcoin is about decentralising the whole world of banking and giving the banking system back to the people. Nicholas explains that Bitcoins are blocks and once the information is put in the block can never be changed. Also, he adds that each time you add to the block your success and reward for that is a Bitcoin.

 

How much of a store of value is Bitcoin?

The media portrays Bitcoins negatively. Investors would be forgiven for thinking Bitcoin investing is a scam. Certainly, former President Trump recently said so. Comments which saw the value of Bitcoin plummet.

That said, Nicholas explained the real value of Bitcoin comes from the mining from the source. Will Bitcoin ever stabilise though? Nicholas explains that no one really knows. It is still early days for Bitcoin.
