Cloud Email Marketing Software

Email Blaster was started 11 years ago. Jamie started the business with his brother Chris. Originally, they were a creative marketing agency and wanted to get into email marketing themselves. But, they just didn’t like much of what was out there are the time.

Another thing, it was all US based too! So, they decided to make their own!

They were competing with the likes of Aweber, Mailchimp, and Dotmailer.

What was missing from those services?

The big thing was just being able to pick up the telephone to talk to someone.

Web-based products often forget the people like to deal with people. With every new piece of software there is a learning curve. Instead of puzzling away and hitting the keyboard, it s nice just to be able to pick up the telephone and talk to the company directly.

Now there’s a novel idea! Not waiting 24 hours for a response to an email. That is rubbish and we all know it.

Are you ‘reluctantly’ doing email marketing (and need help?)

That was me. Jamie stepped up. He’ll get calls saying take a look at the campaign I’ve put together. Is it any good?

Can you imagine some of the other providers giving a hoot? No, nor can I.

On the other end of the spectrum, Email Blaster UK have lots of blue chip companies who really know their stuff. They don’t hear from them.

They’re also used to noise. They are a 9 iron from Silverstone Race Track.

Why should you use Email Marketing?

It’s a great way of keeping in touch with your customers. Keeping them up-to-date with your company, your industry. Great for secondary sales. A good way to follow up prospects. Collected trade show business cards.

It is all transparent. You can see that it has been read. When they read it. How you interacted with it. Which links you clicked on. It offers a whole lot of visibility.

It must be both cost effective and time effective.

Use a tailored sign-up form on your website

Automation is great. Email Blaster uses an automation app that hooks up to a subscribe form. With the software you can design a subscribe form. Theme it perfectly for your website. Give it to your web guys and launch it on the site. One someone fills it out, your email address is confirmed by double opt in. Safe and compliant with GDPR. Then a chain of emails can be sent at regular intervals.

It can also be decision based as well. They call this dynamic!

So, if you express an interest in one thing, rather than another, you can be sent down a different track. The software helps you keep all of that communication under control.

PAYGO Pricing!

Plain and simple email marketing

Email Blaster have a plain and simple pricing offer. Don’t believe me? Check out  https://www.emailblasteruk.com

It’s cost effective but powerful. With software features like automate – to cater for flow diagrams. A bit like a customer journey. When they subscribe. Or, when you add a new list. It could be a birthday. Sending vouchers when someone has a birthday.

Length of emails

Have you thought about the length of your emails, in terms of body text. Jamie advises to keep it simple and short. Here’s the formula…

  • Head line.
  • 2 or 3 short paras.
  • Big button for a call to action.

People will read it more. You can also see more clicks. Then you become visible through email analytics. On a WordPress site, you can then see how long people are looking around your site.

Split test

This is the way to quickly work out which creative will work in an email campaign.

How should you decide which provider to use?

Jamie says:

  • That you can email, live chat or better TALK to someone for help.
  • You can deal with that person pretty much straight away. Remember, you don’t want to wait 24 hours for a response, because you’ll want to get your marketing out the door! In other words, responsive.
  • the software is UK based. GDPR.
  • The software is easy to use. Login. Demo.
  • Price is competitive.

Nothing wrong with using Mailchimp. But GDPR means you may be safer with Email Blaster UK.

Video tutorials

OK, if you want to learn the intricacies of email marketing, it is easier with video.

It’s a great way to coach people.

Do clients get success with links to videos in emails. The best way is to host it on Youtube. Have a still and a click through to the video.

Dealing with the pain of moving

Is there a pain in moving? Importing data. Where to upload opt-outs? Pick up the phone.

Most popular package

2000 sends a month for £12.99. 65% of their customer database is on that package! Typically, they have a database between 200-500 people and they’ll send something once or twice a week.

Types of business? There are lots of SMEs, consultants, manufacturers, household named businesses, plus NHS Trusts, Local Government, police, fire.

You need consent for the subscribers you bring into the package. Jamie says email marketing and social media are complementing each other. When you message people on LinkedIn, obtain permission for email marketing.
